The Registry — A Mythic Narrative Framework
A downloadable Framework
The Registry
A Canonical Framework for a Shared Mythic Universe
This document does not tell stories.
It establishes the conditions under which stories are possible.
The Registry is the foundational framework governing The Axis, a modern mythic universe where gods, Exhumans, advanced technology, extraterrestrial forces, and sealed demonic entities coexist in open tension.
Rather than presenting lore or narrative, this document defines:
- Core philosophical principles
- Power systems and their limitations
- Canon boundaries (immutable, variable, and restricted)
- Rules for consequence, authority, and escalation
- Guidelines for licensed and non-licensed creative use
This universe is designed for creators interested in:
- Long-term narrative worlds
- Moral ambiguity and consequence-driven storytelling
- Public, visible power rather than hidden systems
- Mythic scale grounded in human choice and cost
What this is
- A canonical reference document
- A narrative and licensing framework
- An entry point into a larger living universe
What this is not
- A novel or short story
- A game or ruleset
- An open-canon or public-domain setting
Non-commercial use is permitted with attribution.
Commercial use, publication, or canon-defining work requires explicit permission from the Creator.
Additional materials (Atlas, Character Catalogue, and extended canon references) exist and are provided selectively through licensing or collaboration discussions.

This project is the canonical framework governing The Axis universe.
Feedback, questions, and discussion are welcome only insofar as they respect the intent of this document. The Registry is not a draft, a pitch for revision, or an open-canon setting. It defines boundaries rather than asking for direction.
If you are a creator interested in:
non-commercial experimentation within the framework
licensed collaboration
long-term narrative projects aligned with the Registry
You may leave a comment outlining your interest or contact me directly.
Suggestions that attempt to override core principles, remove consequences, introduce absolute resolutions, or reposition the universe as open-source will not be considered.
This space exists for clarification, serious inquiry, and intentional collaboration — not debate over authority.
